Sweet and Spicy Jalapeño Poppers
Who doesn't like a popper? These sweet & spicy Jalapeño bites will be the first to get gobbled up at every party!
This recipe makes 12 poppers.
Ingredients:
- 6 jalapeños halved and seeded
- ½ cup of cream cheese
- ¾ cups of WD Peach & Apricot Everything Sauce #2
- 3 tbs of Parmesan, grated
Pre-heat the oven at 400º
Directions:
- Wearing gloves, slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a small spoon. You can also remove white ribs if you want to make it less spicy.
- Mix 2/3 C of WD Peach & Apricot Everything Sauce #2 with softened cream cheese until fully incorporated.
- Fill your jalapenos with the cream cheese mix.
- Set the Jalapeños on a baking pan and glaze them with the remaining Peach & Apricot sauce then top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
