Peri Peri Churrasco Pizza



Spice up your evening with this absolute flavour-fest!

Serve 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g pizza dough (house made or store bought)
  • 1 bottle of WD Peri Peri Grilling Sauce
  • ½ cup Pizza Mozzarella
  • 1 Peri Peri chicken breast (you can use the chicken from your Peri Peri Spatchcock Chicken)
  • ¼ cup of Grilled Corn
  • ¼ cup of Diced Halloumi cheese
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp green onions freshly chopped

 

DIRECTIONS

Preparing chicken
Cut your chicken breast into thick slices, toss with the peri peri sauce and let it marinate for at least 30min. Set a fry pan on a medium high heat and grill your chicken  for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping them to cook evenly. Shred your chicken into big chunks and set aside.

Preparing Corn
You can use corn on the cob grilled on fry pan, oven or BBQ. If using corn from a can make sure you drain and dry it well. Set your fry pan on a medium high heat and quick grill your corn to get some good grilling marks.

Preparing your pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. If you’re using a pizza stone, place it in oven for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Spread and shape pizza crust into a 10 inches round on a floured countertop. Move your pizza to your pizza stone or pan. Spread Peri Peri sauce on top of your crust.
  3. Top your pizza with mozzarella, Spread your peri peri chicken, corn and halloumi cheese
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until crust is golden.

    Remove your pizza from the oven, garnish with the fresh green onions.
