Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza with Golden Fig & Honey
This pizza give "Old World" flavour and elegant vibes; sweet & savory, fresh & bright. Be the kitchen star you were meant to be!
INGREDIENTS
- 200g pizza dough (house made or store bought)
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil
- 1 jar of WD Golden Fig & Honey
- 1 Fresh mozzarella sliced
- 4-5 slices of Prosciutto
- 1 Cup of Arugula
- 1 Lemon Juice
- Lemon zest
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 450F degrees. If you’re using a pizza stone, place it in oven for at least 30 minutes.
- Spread and shape pizza crust into a 10 inch round on a floured counter top. Move your pizza to your pizza stone or pan. Mix 1 tbs olive oil and 1 tbs of Golden Fig & honey baste your crust.
- Top your pizza with Mozzarella slices, tear the prosciutto slices and spread on top. Add more Golden Fig & Honey on top of your mozzarella as desired.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until crust is golden.
- Remove pizza from oven. Toss your arugula with a drizzle of lemon juice. Top your pizza with arugula and finish with the lemon zest.
