Taco Crunch Wrap

Original Taco Skillet Sauce Crunch Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbls Olive Oil, divided
  • 459 g Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Bottle of WD Original Taco Skillet Sauce
  • 1 Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 Tomato, diced
  • 2 Cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (Mexican Blend)
  • ½ - ¾ Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Jar Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • 6 – 7 Tostada Shells
  • 6 -7 12” Large Tortillas

Directions:

Start by heating 1 Tbls of the Olive Oil in a skillet over medium heat.  Add the Ground Beef and Diced Onions to the pan and cook until the beef has browned completely, and the onions are translucent.  Add in ½ bottle of the WD Original Taco Skillet Sauce and simmer down until the sauce reduces, stirring occasionally.  Once that is ready, set aside.

Heat the Nacho Cheese according to the directions.

Heat the Tortillas according to the directions.

Now the fun begins!  Working one at a time, add a couple of spoons of the ground beef on the tortilla and then a couple of spoons of the nacho cheese on top of that, then crown it with the tostada.  On top of the tostada, add some sour cream, then lettuce, then tomatoes, and finally some shredded cheese.

Fold the edges of the tortilla up over the centre, continuing to work your way around the tortilla, folding it as tightly as possible.  Continue this with each of the tortillas, layering as consistently as possible.  You should be able to make 6 or 7 Crunch Wraps.

Once those are ready, heat the other Tbls of Olive Oil in a skillet on medium heat.  Place the wrap seam-side down first and cook until golden brown, about 2 – 3 minutes.  Flip and cook the other side for 1 – 2 minutes more.

Serve and enjoy immediately!
